Terms of Service

Last updated: May 17, 2026

1. Service Description

Simple Appraisal Protest, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides a software-based property tax protest preparation service. Our platform analyzes publicly available property records to identify potential over-assessments and generates a protest packet — including a formal cover letter, comparable-sales exhibit, and county-specific filing instructions — for residential property owners ("you" or "the Customer").

2. Not Legal or Appraisal Advice

Our service is informational and preparatory in nature. We are not a licensed appraisal firm, law firm, or tax advisory service. Nothing in our reports constitutes legal advice, a formal appraisal, or a guarantee of outcome. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to file a protest and for the accuracy of any information you submit to your county assessor.

3. Payment and Refund Policy

The fee for a full protest packet is $29.99 (one-time, per property). Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Because the protest packet is a digital product delivered immediately upon payment, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery of your report, contact us at team@simpleappraisalprotest.com and we will resolve it promptly.

4. Free Estimate

The initial savings estimate is provided at no charge. An estimate result of "viable" indicates that our algorithm identified comparable properties assessed at a lower rate per square foot — it is not a guarantee that your county assessor will grant a reduction. Actual outcomes depend on the appraisal review board's determination.

5. Data Sources and Accuracy

We source property data from publicly available county assessor records and GIS datasets. While we make reasonable efforts to keep data current, we make no warranty as to the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any property record or analysis. Assessment values, neighborhood codes, and comparable selections are derived from third-party government data that may contain errors or omissions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Simple Appraisal Protest, LLC and its members, officers, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, including any tax assessment outcome. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific report giving rise to the claim.

7. Geographic Availability

The service is currently available for residential properties in select Georgia counties. We do not guarantee service availability in any specific county and may add or remove counties at our discretion.

8. Privacy

We collect your email address and property details solely to generate and deliver your protest packet. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may use your email address to follow up regarding your order or to notify you of service updates. You may opt out at any time by contacting us.

9. Intellectual Property

The protest packet and all content generated by our platform are licensed to you for personal use in connection with a single property tax protest filing. You may not resell, redistribute, or use our reports for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at simpleappraisalprotest.com/terms.html. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
